Day Shift C+E Driver (4-on, 4-off) - Full Time

Initially, you will be working on our main contract delivering to supermarkets in the north east of Scotland. The Successful candidate will be required to load and unload the trailer themselves, using a mix of manual and electric MHE (Material Handling Equipment). Full training will be given at the client’s RDC. The role involves driving to the RDC in Bathgate, loading the trailer, and then driving to Aberdeen to complete the store deliveries. No nights out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate C+E vehicles on day shifts
  • Deliver goods from the RDC in Bathgate to stores in Aberdeenshire
  • Load and unload trailers using manual and electric Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Return to the yard upon completion of deliveries.

  • Competitive pay: £16.00 per hour
  • 32 days of annual leave

  • Minimum 48 hours guaranteed per 4-day shift
  • Cabs equipped with fridge and microwave.

Requirements:

  • Clean C+E Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience
  • Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
  • Experience with refrigerated and curtain-sided trailers preferred
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and well-presented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with refrigerated and curtain-sided trailers preferred. Due to Insurance, applicants must be over the age of 25 and have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience. Cabs are fitted with fridge & microwave. The role is on a 4-on, 4-off basis.
